Guests arrive at the Ranch is in the late afternoon on arrival day, which is the day before the trip departs for the backcounty. We provide dinner and lodging at the Ranch, and then head out on the trail early the next morning. Plan to pack an overnight bag for your ranch nights separate from your trail gear. We'll arrive back to the Ranch mid afternoon on the final trail day so it's also nice to keep fresh clothes for that night, and the shower feels so good! Dinner and lodging are included; departure is after breakfast the following morning.
We reserve the right to change itinerary for reasons beyond our control such as forest fires, weather, rider ability, unforseen circumstances. Due to the nature of horseback riding in the wilderness, participants MUST be in good physical condition. Trips are not recommended if many health, physical issues, special diets. While we carry a satellite phone for emergencies, it is very difficult to bring someone out from a trip to seek medical attention. The emergency helicopter is costly and is for emergencies only.
